On February 28, 2025, the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) officially launched the IPAF China Regional Council (ICRC) in Shanghai. This marks a new era for the high-altitude work machinery industry in China, as it steps into a phase of international safety collaboration and technological innovation. The establishment ceremony was attended by Romina Vanzi, Head of IPAF's Regional Development & MCWPs , Tim Mo, IPAF China Regional Manager, and representatives from 12 leading industry companies, including Yacontee (Shanghai Yacontee Industrial Co., Ltd.). Together, they gathered to discuss industry safety development under the theme, "Safety in High-Aerial Machines Starts with Me."

As a global authority in the powered access sector, IPAF has been dedicated to "promoting the safe and effective use of powered access equipment" since its entry into the Chinese market in 2006. Members toured 3M China’s Caohejing Factory, a global hub for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) R&D and production. 3M experts demonstrated cutting-edge innovations in fall protection gear and operational protocols, highlighting a dual approach of "advanced equipment + standardized practices" to enhance workplace safety.
